I believe it is important to share my education along with my professional and personal experiences so you can get to know me better. I graduated from the University of Miami with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. After practicing physical therapy fifteen years I decided to further my education at the University of South Florida and earned my doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
For over twenty years I have been treating patients of all ages and from all walks of life with an emphasis in orthopedics, spine, and women’s health. Six years ago, I established a pelvic health program at Palms West Hospital serving patients in the western communities of Palm Beach. Helping women who are struggling with their health, physical activity and changes in their body during pregnancy, post-partum and natural aging has become a passion of mine as a physical therapist and an individual as well. In truth I pursued women’s health to add a special niche and variety to my current practice. My decision to specialize in pelvic health treating men and women has made my practice more rewarding than I ever thought possible.
Exercise and wellness play a vital role in my life. I enjoy restorative yoga and indoor cycling, which has become a huge passion of mine. I love to travel. In 2017 I had the opportunity to visit India. I participated in a ministry program that focused on equipping women skills and tools they could use to start their own businesses and provide for their families. This experience and my own pursuit for wellness have helped shape my goals for the future. It is empowering when I see women become stronger and more confident in themselves. I feel blessed to be a part of lives that have been changed and continue to be an advocate for women through my personal and professional life.
